Firm fundraises for Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal

3 Mar2017

Members of the Firm’s Private Client Team were delighted to support Marie Curie on 3rd March 2017 by collecting for them as part of this year’s Great Daffodil Appeal.

The Appeal has run since 1986 and raises awareness and collects much needed funds to provide end of life care for the terminally ill.

It costs £20 for an hour of Marie Curie Nursing.Last year in Northamptonshire the 7 Marie Curie Nurses provided 4009 hours of care and helped care for 149 patients but they could not have done so without the generosity of the public.

Volunteers from the Firm, Susan Owens, Clare de Banke, Kathryn Frisby, Isobel Mann, Caroline Arnold and Ellie Tomson each took a turn with collection boxes in Northampton’s Grosvenor Centre between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. It was impossible to miss them as they were dressed up in the bright colours of Marie Curie and the Spring!

We are yet to find out how much we raised but in the meantime, if you would like to support the Appeal and wear a daffodil for Marie Curie, we are delighted to receive donations in our Receptions at our Northampton and Kettering offices.
