Opportunity knocks for law firm after office move

A move to new offices on the outskirts of Kettering promises to bring fresh opportunities for law firm Borneo Martell Turner Coulston.

The team, headed by senior partner Sue Owens, made the move in February to Brooklands Court, Kettering Venture Park.

For many years, the firm’s Kettering offices were in Station Road but a growing team and pressures on space and parking prompted the office upgrade.

The new base is easy to reach, has ample parking for clients and office space for the business to expand.

Ms Owens said: “We are so pleased to have been able to make the move. Since moving to the new offices we have had really good feedback from clients who appreciate the easy to reach location and knowing that they no longer have to spend time finding somewhere to park.” The law firm, whose head office is in Billing Road, Northampton, has benefited from continued growth in recent years. This included the recruitment of a 20-strong team who had previously worked for Northampton-based law firm Scott Fowler, which went into administration in May 2020.  An agreement was made with the administrators to take on the workforce which includes specialist lawyers in a range of sectors including commercial work.  “The move means we now have the space to work with more clients,” said Ms Owens. “Alongside work with private clients, we work with a wide range of businesses in different sectors and look to build on these specialist services. ”These include debt recovery, employment law, property, business disputes and IP and trade matters. “We look forward talking to businesses who want to work with a law firm which has the commitment and capacity to provide a bespoke service,” said Ms Owens
