Sue qualified as a solicitor in 1998 having joined Turner Coulston in 1996 as an Articled Clerk.
Sue is based at our Kettering office and is the Head of the Wills and Probate Department. Sue is able to advise clients on all aspects of planning for their future; wills, trusts and powers of attorney. She also assists with the Administration of Estates and Court of Protection matters. She is a member of the Solicitors for the Elderly group, having attained a 100% pass mark in the accreditation exam. In September 2015, Sue undertook a distance learning course and an e-assessment and obtained the SFE Older Client Care in Practice Award. This award recognises that in her work with older and vulnerable clients, Sue complies with the SFE Code of Practice.
In addition to undertaking fee earning work, Sue supports a number of charitable Will schemes and is invited to speak at seminars regarding Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Some years ago, she started what has become a longstanding association of the Firm with the Will Aid. Every November the Firm donates its time and expertise so that people can make Wills without paying the legal costs associated with doing so. The aim of the scheme is to encourage people to donate a sum to the Will Aid charities instead of paying legal fees. The Firm's participation with the Scheme is very successful and we help to raise thousand of pounds annually.
In her spare time Sue enjoys skiing holidays with her family or holidaying in sunnier climes.
