Proud sponsors of Marie Curie at the NEC

The Firm is delighted to have sponsored Marie Curie at the Gardeners’ World Live show at the NEC from 13th to 16th June 2019 and to be supporting them at their stand during the course of the next few days.

The Marie Curie border has been sponsored by Sloane & Sons, Boston Seeds and Pots and Pithoi and us was designed by Emma Berry of Emma Berry Gardens.  It features a willow sculpure of a man sitting on a bench and his dog made by Caroline Gregson, the restful and tranquil sounds of water over pebbles and delicate flowers and plants in hues of green, silver and lilacs.   It is a garden highlighting the importance of rembrance and the memory pebbles by the water remind us that Marie Curie supports people and their families who are living with terminal illness; providing them with care and support.

Marie Curie says of its garden, ‘It provides a space to reflect on the past, contemplate the future and inspire people to consider leaving a gift in their will to Marie Curie so we can be there for even more people living with terminal illness.’

We hope that by supporting Marie Curie we raise awareness about the fantastic work the charity does and encourage people to make donations during their lifetime and/or to make wills, leaving them much needed bequests.
