Sue is the firm’s Senior Partner, a role she has held since July 2020.

She joined the firm’s Northampton office in 1996 as an articled clerk and quickly developed an interest in private client work.  In 1998 she qualified as a solicitor and moved to the Kettering office the following year where she continues to advise clients on all aspects of planning for their future, wills, trusts and powers of attorney.  She also assists with the administration of estates and Court of Protection matters.  

Sue now heads the firm’s busy Wills and Probate department which has expanded over the last few years.  The department has been accredited by the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (a best practice quality mark for wills and estate administration advice) since 2016.

In addition to assisting clients, Sue supports several charitable Will schemes and is invited to speak at seminars regarding Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. 

She became associated with Will Aid when the charity will writing scheme was launched to support the opportunity for the public to have a professionally prepared Will (and appropriate legal advice) whilst raising much needed funds for charity.  The firm has now helped to raise over £100,000 through its participation in the scheme every November.

Sue is committed to helping vulnerable and older people obtain legal advice that meets their needs and provides them with reassurance about their future and has been a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly) since 2010.

Sue enjoys spending time with her grown up family, skiing and holidaying in sunnier climes.
